I decided to have lunch today on the bench outside my office. While unpacking my lunch I saw one lone tiny ant wandering around in, what appeared to be organized panic. Feeling nice I crumbled up a chip and sprinkled it on the ground just to see what happened. The ant came across the crumbs once it realized it was food went straight into the ant hill and after just a few moments numerous ants came out. Working together all the crumbs were picked up and delivered inside to the colony. Watching them work in harmony was amazing, I was intrigued in seeing the teamwork that they were doing.
Why can’t we as christians get it right, follow this the ants are Christians and the chips are the lost souls. The ants called on one another, joining together to bring the lost souls into the kingdom. In todays church there are too many Cotton Candy sermons preached. How can we expect the workers to get fired up if we do not start to communicate how do we rally the troops and bring them into the Glory of God.
We can learn a lot from ants, when we come across a lost chip and you can’t get them back to the colony call out for help of other brothers and sisters to help and maybe that don’t come outside. They can help by praying or being a cheerleader on the sidelines keeping you motivated through Christ. But if the christian community does not come and work together in winning souls then the lost will wander around looking for spiritual food and NEVER be satisfied.
What will you do to bring the chips into the colony? It is ALL of our responsibilities to bring in the lost for Christ by the way we walk, the way we talk and the words of our testimony. Lets get busy!!!!!!!!!
