On the way to work today I was thinking of the blessings God as given to my family. Some blessings we received were given right away and other blessings seemed like they took forever. Waiting on blessings I believe we can relate this to fishing, let me expand. When you go fishing the purpose is to catch a fish that you can keep. I am the worlds worst fisherman, I usually catch a sunburn and waste a lot of time and bait. Casting out I usually witness some more shrimp being torn in half and flying through the air. As we start reeling in the line we go slowly expecting that something will take nibble so we can smile and set the hook. The fish in the end is the blessing, and it is worth waiting for, however when you don’t get a fish it is a let down. It takes time and patience to reel in the fish or even get one to bite. 

This is the same is on waiting Gods blessing we throw out a prayer and then we get impatient because it doesn’t come to us right away. Waiting on Gods blessing is just like fishing we have to keep throwing up our prayers waiting for our blessing to come. Because just like fishing you cast enough times you will get a fish.
