What did you say?

Laying in bed tonight I was thinking about Pastor Toms sermon today. He spoke on the power of words. One think that he mentioned really as my mind thinking and that is sarcasm, for those of you that know me I have a degree in sarcasm. One trait that God has given me is to be straightforward, direct and honest. I always felt that my sarcasm was funny, never did it cross my mind that my sarcasm could be hurtful.

Our words are to be uplifting and encouraging to others. We can give correction to others without sarcasm and lift them up in love. We all must remember that our words can harm someone and they can carry it forever. It may be to late before we realize that we were wrong and never have the chance to say we are sorry.

So let’s mind our words and remember what Grandma always said

If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

Blessings,

Pastor Rick
